Vestibular Rehabilitation & Balance Training

Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized form of physiotherapy that can help reduce dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, and motion sensitivity.

These symptoms may be caused by conditions affecting the inner ear or nervous system, including BPPV, concussion, vestibular neuritis, neurological conditions, or age-related changes in balance.

During your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will learn about your symptoms, evaluate your balance and movement, and identify the likely cause of your dizziness or instability. From there, they’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Treatment may include:

  • Balance and coordination exercises

  • Gaze-stabilization exercises

  • Positional techniques for BPPV

  • Movement and activity retraining

  • A personalized home exercise program

The exercises you’re prescribed are designed to reduce your symptoms, improve your confidence with movement, and help you return safely to your usual activities.

Whatever the cause of your balance or dizziness concerns, our team is here to support you.
