Skylar Derech
Originally from the beautiful Kootenay region, Skylar is grateful to have returned home to serve the community that helped shape her. She holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC Okanagan and a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia.
Skylar’s approach to therapy is grounded in a holistic understanding of recovery, recognizing that healing looks different for every individual. She is especially passionate about brain health and wellness, and values the unique experiences and circumstances that shape each person's journey through injury and recovery.
Outside of work, you can usually find her enjoying the best of what this region has to offer—fly fishing, paddle boarding, trail running—and currently on the lookout for some winter hobbies to dive into!
