Kari Loftsgard

 

Kari is a University of Saskatchewan graduate, receiving her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy (2004) following a Bachelors of Science in Physiology (2001). She has supplemented her university education with a Certificate in Acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) in 2006, a certificate in Gunn IMS in 2012, and attained her designation as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2018.

Since receiving this designation, Hand Therapy has become the focus of her clinical practice and includes custom splinting, post-injury, and post-operative care of the elbow, wrist and hand. 

Kari’s physiotherapy experience encompasses a great deal of variety in both public and private settings. She maintains an active mountain lifestyle with her husband Carson, a teacher at Selkirk Secondary School, and their 2 boys, Ben and Eddie. Kari enjoys golfing, skiing, and family hikes in and around the beautiful peaks and valleys of the East Kootenays.
